I find events like this one as well as other similar ones, completely and utterly incompressible. Murder, or depriving a person of the right to live is the second worst crime (the first would be depriving someone the of the ability of free thought, as in Anthem or similar novels) a human could ever commit. I suppose I can comprehend rage for an instant that becomes uncontrollable, but from what I understand that sort of thing doesn't happen 32 times over a period of I think it was close to four hours. It can be said this is a great tragedy not just for the family's, friends, or even themselves victims (who aren't really in a position to be able to complain, if it's not too soon to sat so), but a sad day for humanity, that yet a another person has been born who killed many people (and, on a less serious note how could he kill professors doesn't he understand how useful they are?) and the remembrance that this shooter was not the first of his kind (although I hear there's speculation that it may have been more than one person).

To kill 32 people, is a big deal. I think what motivated the killer was not only rage, but insanity. After the first few kills, it would be hard just to continue killing just because of anger. This is real life here, i hear it happened throughout the day, 2 people in the morning, then continuing on. Such a blood bath, and lack of police is unacceptable.

As for the people, I am extremely sorry for what they had to go through. I mean how would you feel if someone, even your best friend, was shot right afront of you. People were jumping out of windows. And the shooter was readily killing anyone who could not escape.

Anyways, they have put his demented plays online for people to read.

Yes its a tragedy, but we have to remember that these events occur in Iraq on a daily basis. It is strange to see the differences where we mourn for the killed at virginia tech and not for those in iraq, they are fellow humans also.

The deaths in Iraq have a cause, that we know. Still not a justification, but that is a major difference
